NVQ training on tap!
Posted on April 11th, 2007
Expert help is at hand for local businesses keen to upgrade the skills of their workforce.
Business Advice Direct (BAD) offers free National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) training for eligible employees of local companies.
NVQs prove staff members are competent to undertake their jobs. They are based on national standards and can be undertaken by full-time employees or by school and college students with a work placement or part-time job that enables them to develop the appropriate skills. There are no age limits and no special entry requirements.
NVQs are achieved through assessment and training delivered by BAD’s skilled NVQ assessors. The assessors discuss with candidates the work they currently undertake and agree on the standard you are aiming for before selecting activities to help them achieve their goal.
NVQs are ideal both for new starters and those who want to increase their skills. The system is so flexible that new ways of learning can be used immediately.
BAD is a successful training provider with a history of outstanding achievements. BAD Managing Director Richard Hallam said:
“We are keen to give local businesses the opportunity to provide extra training for their staff and can provide Level 2 NVQ qualifications and traditional training courses.”
