Two new tutors have been welcomed at the Sheffield learndirect centre which is run by Business Advice Direct (BAD).
Mark Wilson from Matlock joined the staff three weeks ago and Justin Clover joins the company in early April.
Mark, who specialises in numeracy training, said he was very happy in his new post and enjoying working with learners from Sheffield.
BAD has won the contract to deliver 12 learndirect centres across the country and nearly 1,500 learners have already benefited so far this year. BAD also delivers other e-learning solutions, Level 2 NVQ qualifications and traditional training courses.
learndirect centres are funded by the Government via the University for Industry (UFI) and have to achieve strict Key Performance Indicators to ensure they provide a good standard of training.
Fiona Wright, Head of Funded Learning for BAD, said she was delighted to welcome the new members of staff.
“We are having great success at Sheffield in delivering training to local people who are looking to retrain or update their skills,” she said. “I am sure our new members of staff with help us to further our success and enable us to provide even more high quality training that learners have come to expect.”
