Praise for Sheffield learning centre staff member

Julia Hewitt was Highly Commended in the Yorkshire and Humberside learndirect Learning Centre Staff Awards last week.
Julia works at Sheffield’s learndirect centre and the certificate recognises her hard work in providing outstanding customer care and support for learners.
The Sheffield centre is delivered by Business Advice Direct (BAD) which operates learndirect centres across the country.
Julia was thrilled to have been nominated and even happier to have received a certificate! She told BBC Look North presenter Ian White how much she loved her job and working for BAD and how she was inspired by all the learners.
“We all work so hard at BAD Sheffield to make the learning experience user-friendly for students and I am just one of many who give 100% to make our centre the best!” she said. “I’m really chuffed to have my hard work recognised, but I accept it on behalf of the great team at Sheffield.”
BAD managing director Richard Hallam said he was pleased with Julia’s success and commented: “BAD staff are all highly motivated and passionate about the work they do.”
Head of Funded Learning at BAD said: “Julia works along side me much of the time and I know at first hand what an excellent staff member she is. I am very proud of her and all BAD staff who are first rate and year on year maintain the highest standards. Well done, Julia!”
