New Accolades for Business Advice Direct!

Rapid responsiveness and immaculate learner files have scooped two more awards for Business Advice Direct (BAD) - the Derbyshire-based provider of learndirect centres across the country.
At the Learndirect East Midlands Provider Event, held at Belton Woods Golf & Country Club, there was a surprise awards ceremony to recognise good practice – and BAD centres at Lincoln, Derby, Leicester and Kettering jointly scooped two awards!
Tim Grant and Dave Grasham from BAD Lincoln, which was closed by flooding earlier this month, collected two scrolls on behalf of BAD’s four East Midlands based centres. The scrolls – one for maintaining fastidious learner files and the other for responsiveness to learners’ needs – were signed by May Surgeoner, Regional Performance Director of Ufi, the organisation behind learndirect.
Head of Funded Learning at BAD, Fiona Wright, said: “The award part of the event was a complete surprise and we were bowled over to win two, which come on top of a number of Learner Awards and commendations which we have gained during the summer. We are all delighted with the success of our centres, and put it all down to our excellent staff who thoroughly enjoy helping people learn and are committed to their jobs. Well done to them all!”
