New venue for the New Year!

Following enormous success at RTC Business Park, Derby’s learndirect centre has moved to larger premises.
The centre, which is provided by Business Advice Direct (BAD), is now at 1st Floor, St. Peters House, Gower St.
Situated in the city centre - and above Job Centre Plus - the new premises are much larger and more easily accessible, as well as being disabled friendly.
Tutor Tony Goodman is thrilled with his new working environment and is sure learners will be as well!
“The new centre is far more spacious and inviting and creates a far friendlier working/learning environment,” he said. “The learners are more relaxed and we hope to see the numbers increasing even more. The fact that BAD Derby is in the city centre, above Job Centre Plus- which is great for our unemployed customers- and right next door to the CSCS testing centre, makes this the ideal location.”
Cris Brawn, Regional Performance Manager in the East Midlands for Ufi, the organisation behind learndirect, said: “Congratulations to BAD Derby on their recent successful move into the city centre. With bigger premises and a central location, there is a huge potential to help even more learners realise their ambitions and change their lives. As the centre was already doing well, the move can only build on this success and help to put BAD right at the forefront of learndirect delivery in Derby.”
BAD Head of Funded Learning Fiona Wright commented: “We are delighted to improve the working environment for our Derby learners. The Derby centre is one of our busiest and most successful.
