LearnDirect Tutor – Wolverhampton

- Work Location: Wolverhampton
- Hours of Work: Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Remuneration: £14 – 17k Per Annum depending on experience.
- Holidays: 25 days per annum, Jan – Dec, plus statutory bank holidays
- Responsible to: Head of Funded Learning
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- To provide a first class support service to customers and clientele of the centre.
- To support learners undertaking online learning.
- To provide administrative support for the centre and other members of the team.
- To contribute to the continued success and growth of Business Advice Direct Ltd (BAD).
PROFILE:
You will have previous experience supporting customers with their learning experience, either through learndirect, e-learning courses or any other online delivery method. Any L2 or above qualification in adult learning support would be beneficial. You must have a good personality and the ability to communicate well with learners of all levels. You will be an excellent team player, participating in local team meetings and regional training events.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Supporting learners with online courses at all levels
- Preparing and delivering workshops (training will be given where required to new recruits)
- Ensuring administrations systems are maintained
- Being responsible for keeping learner files up-to-date with all the relevant documentation, ensuring all agreements and paperwork are done in line with company’s requirements
- Enter precise and concise tutor notes onto system.
- Being flexible in approach to administering online support
- Attending JCP offices to enrol learners
- Advising and progressing learners onto further learning upon completion of current courses
- Updating in-house database systems
- Be able to, or be willing to work towards, delivering workshop-style training on a range of courses
- Ensuring attendance at team meetings to keep up-to-date with current delivery methods, courses, product knowledge, etc
- Enhancing own knowledge of courses by undertaking training and previewing courses
- Understanding the roles of all individuals within the company and actively participating in the appraisal process and creating a self-development plan
- Participating in external meetings, as required.
- Covering tutor support at other centres within county region.
- Make every effort to assist in reducing over-heads and reaching County targets
- Comply with company policies and procedures
